I am using this a a foliar pick-me-up spray on my evergreen plants. This year many of my plants (notably a mature photina) have put on poor, or erratic, growth and are showing other signs of stress and mineral deficiencies, such as yellowing between the veins of leaves. They are probably struggling because we have had what seemed like non-stop rain all winter, followed by spring days that were brilliantly sunny and hot during the day and cold at night. (Not to mention the days of high wind and the unusually high numbers of various sap sucking insects that have put in an appearance this year.) The Doff Liquid Seaweed Plant Feed, used as a foliar feed, is a gentle and effective way of giving these plants a helping hand. I use about half the recommended dose for struggling plants. It is not an overnight cure, but a once-a-week thorough wetting of the leaves works wonders and my plants are recovering steadily. (I use Empathy Plant products for rhododendrons, camellias, blueberries etc.)

I like the fact that it’s not based on chemicals and comes from a sustainable source. It can be used on any plant, keeps them healthy and seems to increase yields.
