“This is a well-known standard product, and very effective. The ones in my existing greenhouse have many years service on them. I bought a single new one to operate the lid of a new cold-frame -although be aware that you need to make the attachment to the lid removable, so you can open the lid to access the inside. I did this by fixing a captive bolt to the attachment point which passes through a hole in the lid to be secured by a wingnut. For a normal fixed greenhouse installation it comes with all necessary parts.”

“Arrived in no time a bit fiddly to fit as I had to drill another hole but hey it’s fitted nicely and it works fine excellent”

“It works well now,but I had problems setting it up. I followed the instructions to put it in the fridge, however, I had to repeat it another two times to get it correct. The instructions were not precise enough.”
