“To my knowledge the only chemical on the market specifically for vine weevil and which amateur gardeners can purchase. Must ensure that pot plant compost is well saturated and if a bad infestation that you apply at least twice a year at the relevant times especially on outdoor pots. It kills the grubs, but adult vine weevils can still survive, so essential to follow up their 'teeth marks' on the plant's leaves and kill the beasts! They behave like lily beetles when approached, rolling over and playing dead but don't be fooled. Adults can't fly, can't swim and usually wander around at sunset.”
