“Just got rid of a big, ugly shed and needed some more seed to grass over the area. I've bought this lawn seed before (it was a Which? Gardening Best Buy) and it gives a lovely, fine very slow-growing lawn. This means it takes a while to get started but then needs mowing something like once a year. (You do need to make sure it gets plenty of water: grass is part of the same family as rice and if it isn't kept watered, it won't grow very well.) Really, really pleased with Littlefields Farm: price - even with delivery - was much cheaper than everywhere else. I thought I'd get a poorer service but, no. The service was excellent. Bought online and was delivered really quickly, packed really well (in plastic so no broken or damp areas). Would very much recommend the seed and Littlefields Farm. Very pleased.”

“Today I received the 1.5kg pack of Johnsons Lawn Seed that I ordered and I have to say I am a little disappointed with it. I usually buy a pack annually and when I get it the date stamped on the carton is usually less than a year old but this pack is two years and five months old. I have just googled it and the recommendation on there is that it is used within two years. I just hope it germinates after I have sown it.”
