I can’t review this exact product because I ordered and paid for 3 of them but received 3 standard eggs (60g per egg instead of the 200g per egg I ordered). Contacted little fields farm who offered me a £10 refund. I contacted them again to explain I had not received the items I paid for so would expect them to refund the cost difference and p&p costs but they refused and said all the ‘Directors’ would authorise was £12 refund. Atrocious attitude to customer service but guess they were banking on it being too close to Easter for me to be able to find these products elsewhere so I couldn’t return for full refund. It’s obvious they knew that when the items were returned they would need to be sold at a discount as Easter would be past. Thought I was doing a good thing supporting an independent business but won’t ever use them again.

Hi Gwen, Thank you for your Review, hope you're well and had a good Easter! I'm so sorry that you felt the need to leave this review after I worked so hard to resolve this issue for you. I would like to apologise again that the warehouse team picked and despatched the wrong eggs to you. We did also offer to cover the cost of returning the eggs for a full refund as Easter would not affect whether or not we would accept these back. We refunded 2/3 of the cost of your order in the end (£14) to account for the discrepancy in what you had ordered vs what you had received which meant that the items retained were well below cost price and covered 80% of the P&P costs. We appreciate you wanting to support us as a small family business. As mentioned we can't afford to give things away but worked very hard to reach a suitable compromise; offering a significant discount or a free return for a full refund are widely practised solutions for online retailers and I'm very sorry that neither of these options resolved the situation to your satisfaction. Our service was not at all atrocious but I apologise that you felt that it was. We hope that this did not affect your enjoyment of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
