“Although expensive, around £1 a slice, they do very well as a substitute for bread at only 2 carbs a slice (bread is around 18). Especially good where you might put something in a bun or a sandwich like a burger or cheese. On their own there's not a lot of taste, but that's fine if the fillings are good and worth pan frying each side for a minute or so. Not tried them as a pizza base, but that does look quite nice. Anyway, along with Atkins bars, these are great for a low carb diet and they definately help keep you away from the bread bin.”
