Read Loop Tackle Design AB Reviews

Beautifully minimalistic, the Anorak fly fishing jacket is a stormproof, lightweight outer shell designed to keep you totally dry in the elements.
Utilising a high performance SympaTex® three layer membrane, it is durable enough to withstand any expedition and remain completely waterproof and highly breathable. The thoughtful design eliminates zips and features, making it the perfect lightweight solution for anglers. Whether your boat is crashing across the waves in the Florida Keys or you’re standing on the banks of the Río Grande, the Anorak will withstand high winds and still keep you warm and dry.
Featuring robust velcro cuffs, single hand elasticated hood tensioner and elastic hem drawcord, it provides complete protection from the wind and rain whilst simultaneously retaining body heat. The single left velcro pocket is there for your essentials and doubles up as a stuff sack – meaning you can pack the jacket right down when not wearing it.

This jacket is almost amazing, but it has a couple substantial flaws. The overall design is simple and functional, the fit is good (6', 175 lbs, wearing a large), the fabric is perfect, and the yellow color is warm and bright. The wrist closures on the sleeves are way too small. I have thin wrists and the jacket is barely large enough to close, and the velcro flap is too short and regularly pops open. Fully cinched, they would be snug around a single finger, which is silly design. As they are, they won't fit over insulated gloves. The hood is also poorly designed. It is too big and loose, blows off if any wind, and does trun with your head. It needs a better adjustment, which would be a simple addition. The adjustment around the neck is useless, and actually traps water that would othewise run down the shell. If these two issues were fixed, this would be a perfect foul-weather top.
