“Although I'm normally a size small (Alby pants and Morie pants) I decided to try this in a medium to allow for all-day comfortable wear and the ability to tuck in tops. It still sits at a moderate high-rise for me, just over/above belly button, and I can easily and comfortably tuck in my Tegan square neck top as planned (yay!). I can also wear this after a hefty lunch I am 26" waist and 36" hips. Petite girlies have no fear. Falls to a great mid-calf length even in a size up. I'm 5'3" for reference. The material is comfortable and not itchy. Feels durable and like it'll hold up fine when washed with other delicates and hang-dried.
I'd recommend ordering your true size if you don't tuck in shirts and you're going for the beautiful high rise as shown in the product photos and ordering one size up if you'd like to be able to tuck in shirts or if you prefer a mid-rise or a moderate high rise.
With the looser fit, I'll probably wear this skirt with a longer crop, my Tegan top, or some other top tucked in. I'll probably opt for a higher rise like my Morie or Alby pants in my true size to wear with a crop like in the picture--the Jaelia crop top.
