“I've been looking for a sequin skirt for a while. This one is nicer than others in that it is fully lined. The forced slit did not look good which is why I'm returning--difficult to explain but in order to tailor this there is a smaller seam next to the offcial side seam where there is a triangular panel above the slit--this is almost impossible to do well w a sequin fabric, and the sequins don't lie flat there, which draws attention to that seam, and it's also rough to the touch. the right design for this fabric is simpler, straight column with maybe slits along the natural seams-- adding the slit here is probably too difficult to engineer, it just didn't sit right. if you order a size up so it's not figure hugging, perhaps there will be less attention at this area, but still unlikely the sequins will lie flat.”
