“This for me is a must have for matts and tangles. Makes removing matts and knots so much easier on me and less stress for my dogs.”

“Sure, the spray bottles for all of their products are just beautiful. I like the scent too, and it is a good product. The problem is, when grooming there are times when the bottle may be knocked over, accidentally dropped. Maybe the dog hits it and that’s it …the sprayer falls off and you can never get it back on. I’ve wasted three bottles like this in addition to the others, I’ve purchased. Sometimes the sprayer just comes off. It’s so frustrating and a big waste of money. Sure you can put it in another one of your little bottles, but it doesn’t have the same microburst or whatever you would call that nice fine spray. I’ve talked to a lot of people who feel the exact same way. In April 2025, I took one of my latest broken cans to the POODLE CLUB OF AMERICA national specialty. Artero is a sponsor with all of its products displayed . I explained the problem about their spray cans and I thought they might even exchange mine for one that was not broken. It was a brand new bottle and the sprayer didn’t work. It just came off and you can’t get it back on. Nope — they had no interest in that They told me I could just dump it into another bottle which is not easy to do. I’ve done it. I was really surprised that they didn’t stand behind their product, especially at a national specialty. They did tell me it is a big problem and they’re working on a new package. I am still waiting.”

“First bottle arrived with broken spray nozzle. Notified Customer Support and had a new bottle delivered one day later. Excellent Customer Support experience! This stuff also smells amazing, kind of minty but not overpowering. Conditions without making the coat greasy. I have Cavaliers.”

“Very happy with the product the can came bent. Spray cans when shipped together should be wrapped to keep them from banging and getting damaged.”

“Matt-X is the best dematting/detangling spray. It's the only one I've tried that is safe to use after the bath with no greasy coat. Smells minty and amazing!”
