“Haven’t used this long enough to give 5 stars yet as it’s only been a week and I think it takes a while for the body to get used to natural deodorant. I had previously used a different brand and didn’t get on with it. Have used Lucy Bee’s soaps (lush!) and like the rest of the skin care range so thought I’d give this a go. Liking it so far. Not sure yet if it’s going to keep me smelling sweet all day though - hopefully”

Hi Lucy, thank you for your feedback. It's great to hear that you are enjoying our deodorant! Anti-perspirants use aluminium-based compounds to temporarily block pores to stop you sweating, whereas a deodorant allows your body to sweat and should cover any odour. Our deodorant uses micro silver, an antibacterial, as well as sodium bicarbonate to help combat odour. I hope you are continue to enjoy the deodorant, and the fresh citrus scent. “The most incredible deodorant I’ve tried! It has a lovely smooth consistency and I love how easily it rubs into the skin. I’ve even converted my husband, no more nasty chemical spray deodorants in this house! If you’re on the fence - try it! So worth the money, a gorgeous fresh lemon aroma and it really lasts all day. I’ve used it before super sweaty workouts too and it’s fab! 10/10 product again from Lucy Bee”

“Third purchase of this deodrant , fundamentally it's a natural deodorant that works, which is a feat in its own right, but it has a delicate fragrance too and is so gentle on the skin and you can feel confident that it works while exercising.”

“Nice smell but not sure on using it. Previous products I have tried from other companies have been in a push up tube, which make it easier to use for me.”

Hi Sheila, many thanks for your feedback. I'm so pleased that you are enjoying the fresh citrus scent of our natural deodorant! We have used a beautiful frosted glass jar so that all the packaging for our natural deodorant is fully recyclable. I'm sorry to hear that you have found this difficult to use, we have a bamboo spatula to remove the deodorant from the jar which you may find useful. Simply use the spatula to remove the deodorant, then warm the deodorant in your fingertips and apply to your underarm. I hope this is helpful, and that you continue to use the product. “Love the smell, applies really easily, feels great. Perfect for every day use - just not strong enough for me during exercise - I have to top it up with regular antiperspirant. Everyone sweats differently! Would still fully recommend!”

Sorry that you haven't got on with it whilst working out yet... this could be your body getting used to using a natural deodorant, also known as a transition period. Anti-perspirants use aluminium-based compounds to temporarily block pores to stop you sweating, whereas a deodorant allows your body to sweat and should cover any odour. Our deodorant uses micro silver, an antibacterial, as well as sodium bicarbonate to help combat odour. Some people won’t experience any transition period while others will and there’s not a definite timeframe for this as we’re all unique. Our deodorant is best used on freshly washed, dry armpits.
