HI Tracy, Yes this is totally normal, when the jar is in temperatures above 24C. The nature of unrefined coconut oil is such that it melts above 24C and then solidifies below this - all of which is totally normal and does not affect its uses or benefits. Our oil comes from the Philippines and Sri Lanka and there it will always be liquid/clear due to their temperatures. We're more used to seeing it as a solid here but during warmer weather, the oil melts in the jar, as yours has done. I hope this assures you that all is totally normal. Petrina
