Having tried other shower soaps (I won't make this mistake again!), I always go back to the Lucy Bee soaps and have tried them all now. They don't dry your skin which all other soaps I've tried do and most importantly they foam so easily that you don't need to use loads of it. Don't let the price put you off, they are ethical and natural and last. I have tried all aromas now and my favourites are the orange soap and peppermint soap.

Hi Ella, Thank you for your great review. It's great to know that you love using our soaps. It's great to know that only natural essential oils are used, and that they are palm oil free. I have not used shower gel since using these soaps! Hannah

Love the ethos of Lucy Bee products. Been using this soap for about 2 weeks...smells amazing, lathers beautifully but sadly dries out my hands. Perhaps I will try the fragrance free version, fingers crossed I have better luck with that.

HI Laura, Many thanks for your review, we aim to be as ethical and environmentally-friendly as possible from the products themselves, to the packaging that we use. Sorry to hear that you've found this with this particular soap. The base for each of our soaps, is the ingredients in our Fragrance Free, then added organic essential oils so I wonder if one of those is what your skin isn't liking? Petrina

I hate soap bars. I love shower gels and how they lather up. When trying this, I thought it would just be another bar of soap. Rubbed it on my skin, it didn't seem to do anything, then I used a loofah / poof or whatever you call it. It lathered up perfectly. I will only be using these from now on.. No more shower gels!

Hi Sonia, thanks for your review! I agree, I have not used shower gel in months and now only use Lucy Bee soaps. Lucy Bee Soap lathers really easily when rubbed between wet hands, and then applied to the body. I hope you enjoy using the other soaps too! Rian

What is glycerin? Is it not a palm oil? I’m confused?

Hi Jennifer, thank you for your question. The glycerin in Lucy Bee Soap is not from from palm oil. The glycerin in the Lucy Bee Soap isn’t actually added, it is created by the reaction of the base chemical on coconut oil. Saponification is the process where a fat is treated with an alkali which is the traditional way to produce soap. Coconut oil contains medium-chain triglycerides, such as lauric acid, capric acid, caprylic acid and myristic acid, and these are converted to glycerin. Rest assured, there is no palm oil in our Soap, and we would never use it in any Lucy Bee product. I hope this helps, please do get in touch with us if you have any other questions. We also have FAQs on shop.lucybee for each product. Many thanks, Rian
