“Having found out about the coumarin toxicity risk in supermarket cassia cinnamon, I decided to give Ceylon (Cinnamon Zeylanicum)(True Cinnamon) a go. At 猷0.30 per 10g this is actually cheaper then schwartz inferior potentially toxic (see below) cassia cinnamon at 猷0.46 per 10g (tesco). For this you get organic fair trade high quality product thats safe to consume even in large quantities, which is especially helpful if you make cinnamon rolls. Having done a taste test I would say cassia does have a slightly stronger more robust flavour with a touch more sweetness, whereas this ceylon is slightly lighter and more aromatic. However this ceylon still clearly tastes of cinnamon and I wouldn't be surprised if some people couldn't tell which is which. Needless to say I am very happy with my purchase of this quality product at good value. A 1tsp a day of supermarket cassia cinnamon can provide a toxic level of coumarin, causing damage to your health liver and kidneys. This is unlike this true/ceylon/Cinnamon Zeylanicum, which contains 1200X less coumarin providing a negligible amount, meaning you can safely consume much larger quantities.”

“I would agree with one of previous review, stating that this cinnamon does not smell / taste like cinnamon. It does not matter how much you put it into the meal, it is still does not smell / taste good enough I was expecting. So will not be buying again because of this. Great thing about this product is that it is Organic and fair trade, and that was the reason I bought it for the first place.”

“Well, after using it for a long time I realised that it has no flavour and unfortunately this is not as fine as I thought will be, you will still have to grounded a little if you really want a fine powder. I am going to buy today from my supermarket something with flavour even if it's not organic Another thing is that, what's the point of being organic if it comes in a metal tin. which definitely has been treated with chemicals. From now on I will go for jars(glass).”
