“The most delicious cocoa for making ORGANIC hot chocolate with non-dairy milk substitutes. I can't remember which supermarket I bought it at, but I wish I'd bought the shelf. I'll be buying this organic cocoa/drinking chocolate in future!”

Hi Eve, I have to 100% agree with you on this! Our Drinking Chocolate has such a wonderfully, rich, chocolate taste and is delicious in drinks and cooking. I like that it has no added sugar, leaving me the option to sweeten if needed. This is also a Fair Trade product and it's good to know that those who produced it directly benefit from the Fair Trade premiums. Keep enjoying! Petrina

HI Leanne, Thank you for your feedback. Because this is 100% cacao powder with no added sugar, it doesn't have that sweet taste found in many drinking chocolates, some of which are up to 60% sugar. It might be worth sweetening it to see if they like it that way and at least you're in control of how much sugar they're having. That said, taste is, of course, such a personal thing and it may well be that this isn't for them. I don't know if you're aware but you can also use this product in cooking, so don't feel the pot is wasted. It's great in cakes, desserts, added to porridge and smoothies. I hope this helps. Petrina

Thank you so much for your feedback. We bought this out as most hot chocolates on the market contained a lot of sugar (sometimes up to 70%). We wanted to give the choice back to the customer so that they could be in control of how much sugar they were consuming. We're glad that you're toddlers are enjoying it! Georgia

“It’s the best drinking chocolate I ever tasted and I’m not exaggerating. It’s a fairly priced product with star quality. I make my hot chocolate by mixing in a pan about 200-300 ml of milk with generous table spoon of chocolate, I stir ingredients while warming up milk, once chocolate disolves and milk is warm (not too hot) I add tea spoon of coconut sugar and pinch of groing cardamom. DELICIOUS!!!”

The great thing about our Drinking Chocolate being 100% cacao powder with no added sugar or fillers, means you're in control of how much sugar to add to suit your taste. Another great thing with it is that you can also use it in cooking - it's great in baking, raw bites, hummus, granola, making your own chocolate with our Coconut Oil, and even savoury dishes like chilli!
