“The best coconut oil I've ever used. Ethical, aromatic and not too overly coconutty. I'm very upset that it is being withdrawn (if that's the case, as I'm not able to get it anywhere else that has bbe date past Feb 2019).”

“Smells a lot less coconuts then other brands which of fine. But we were more sold on the ethical side to it.”

Hi Eaman, we have 2 different coconut oils, a Sri Lankan one (the orange lid that you have) and one from the Philippines (the green lid). Our Sri Lankan oil is simply made from different coconuts and has a lighter aroma and flavour/taste. If you are after something more coconutty then you should try our coconut oil with the green lid, you'll find this has a stronger aroma and flavour! Georgia

Thank for this! Coconut oil is ideal to use as a moisturiser and our Sri Lankan oil has a light coconut aroma versus our Philippine Oil (with its green lid), which has a richer aroma and taste. Petrina

“I absolutely love both Lucy Bee coconut oils. This has a milder coconut taste though still lovely, but I actually prefer the full aroma one. I bought this as it was on sale and who doesnt love a bargain. I will never buy any other coconut oil other than Lucy Bees. It is such a wonderful product.”

What a lovely review, thank you Alison. We're so pleased that you love our coconut oil! We never mix our oils so that our customers know exactly where it has come from. Our green lid is from the Philippines and our orange lid is from Sri Lanka - so the coconuts naturally have a slightly different taste. We find that people who don't love the taste of coconut, tend to buy the Sri Lankan oil as it's slightly lighter in aroma as you say. We hope you're enjoying using your latest jar! Georgia

Thank you. Our Sri Lankan Coconut Oil has a lighter aroma and taste than our Philippine Coconut Oil (easily distinguishable with its green lid). Both can be used in exactly the same way as a replacement for processed oils in cooking, and in your natural beauty regime - it's a very effective make-up remover.
