Thank you for your feedback. Diamond Shoals is an authorized Luminox distributor. We can ensure that your watch is an authentic Lumonox if purchased from them. The Bear Grylls 3729.ECO series watch is designed with an emphasis on ‘3’ with an enlarged numeral in Super-Luminova glow. Super Luminova technology requires a charge unlike the tritium tubes that provide a 24/7 glow. In order to see Luminosity on the 3 you need to place the watch under a lamp or expose it to direct sunlight for 30 minutes. This should allot for up to 2 hours of Luminosity. We hope this helps!
