ICE-SAR ARCTIC - 1003 Outdoor Adventure Watch Reviews

3.8 Rating 8 Reviews
For 15-20 years I have wanted a Luminox watch. This Christmas when I could finally afford one it was very exciting. I loved it and after a couple weeks threw all the paperwork that came with it away. Because hey, I believed that they were bullet proof and there was no way I wouldn’t keep it. After a couple weeks the date started slipping and I’d fix it thinking I’d done something wrong. Then the time stated slipping. So finally I asked my wife to help me send it back. Well let me tell you, you folks are terrible. We had a terrible time contacting Luminox for a return. Then we find out you want us to pay $35.00 to send your defective watch back. Additionally at the time that you can’t find my purchase history. Somehow you can send me ads and a surveys. Terrible service, defective product, and a company that has completely misrepresented itself.

I just couldn't resist this beautiful Luminox time piece. It is accurate and feather lite. The 24/7 hour and hand self illuminating tubes sold me. Most watches lose their illumination quite rapidly so mostly worthless. These self illuminating tubes will last 25 years. The Ronda movement keeps accurate time at +- 15sec/mo. Ok, I was not a big fan of the OEM solid rubber band. Although appropriate for a dive watch and very stout not my cup of tea. I purchased the Luminox carbon fiber watch band and did the switch myself (a bit tricky). Luminox, this is a much more appropriate watch band for this model, although expensive worth the price; offer a choice???

The only issue I have with your watches are that the straps are too small for my wrist. Sadly this will be probably be the only one as when I talked to someone recently, they mentioned that the sizes the watches come in are all that's available. My wrist runs about 8 3/4. The start for this was way too tight. I had to get another strap that worked. I seriously doubt any watch maker would adjust their bands or straps manufacturing for just one person. I was sad to hear this and even more sad to write this as I hate leaving bad reviews. I don't make a lot of money, so had to save to buy this watch. Please make adjustments for longer straps or bands in the future. If not for me, for others like myself. Not everyone has a 6-7" wrist.

Hello, Thank you for this feedback - we do sell strap extenders on our website and can recommend a webbing strap as an alternative for this watch. We will take this feedback to our product design and development team.

Tough watch that I’ve worn about six months now. I wanted a Luminox for a long time and happened to see this at the AD. Looks even better in person and I’ve gotten a lot of comments on it. Wears smaller than 46MM. Couldn’t be happier!

I chipped the face and struggled to deal with your “outsourced” repair option. I mailed the watch 4 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything back. No email to say we received it. No clue if it will make it back to me. You need a better repair process given you name is attached to it. On the flip size, I do like your product designs.
