“I love this watch. It looks great and is easy to read day and night. The band takes a couple of weeks to break in, and it's pretty uncomfortable in the process but afterward it's fine.”
“Beautiful watch. Strap is really nice, too... yes, a bit stiff at first but it's good to go AND looks great.
Get this watch if you need a non-smart or transmitting watch.”
“I wanted to love this watch so badly. I had a bad support experience with Praesidus and Luminox held so much promise. First the positive. The watch looked amazing, was built like a tank, and I loved the “blackout edition”.
That’s where the positives ended. The small negative was the crown was all but impossible to adjust the date with. I’ve owned some watches over the years and I know how they should work. However it seemed like the crown had a hard time adjusting the date.
The real negative was the watch band. While thick and durable it felt like it was made for a toddler. I am by no means a huge man with bodybuilder arms or anything. I am 6’ and 225lbs. With what I would say in my experience are average wrists.
Even on the very last notch of the band this watch cut off my circulation and hurt to wear. My only support options were spend $100 on a bigger band or return the watch. No offer to swap the band for free.
For a watch company who touts the Navy Seals wear their watches this seems ridiculous. I know some Seals. The ones I know make my wrist look tiny.
It’s not the end of the world but maybe offer us veterans a band swap. I hated having to return it and then get charged a restocking fee. Poor customer service.”
“I work on the Railroad, at night, and don’t always have a way to charge the lume on my watch nor is that a sensible option, also I don’t always have both hands available to activate a backlight. This watch is always readable. Excellent tool. Looks mean. Keeps good time.”
“Purchased the Atacama field watch and am very pleased with the weight of the watch and the features. Easy to read, not too bulky and great every day watch.”
