“I am a volunteer firefighter, reserve law enforcement officer, scuba diver, and just a general outdoors person. I wanted to love this watch, and I really tried too. I really like the design, the size, the feel, everything about it....except the second hand slips when the watch gets bumped. Throughout the day, even at my office job environment, I noticed the second/timer hand would be about 8-10 seconds off. I thought maybe I had accidentally hit the timer button and it moved a few seconds, so I would recalibrate it to zero, but by the end of the next day it would be off. I finally noticed if the watch got bumped, the second hand would slip. I sent the watch in for repairs, and they supposedly rebuilt it. As soon as I got it back, I tested it by bumping it against the palm of my hand, and the same thing happened. I let it go for a year or so, then sent it in again for repairs. Once again, it was supposedly rebuilt, but when I got it back, it still did the same thing. I have had $10 watches that would not do this, so I can't believe a watch "built for Navy SEALs" would do this. I asked the repair company about getting a new replacement, but they said they were only authorized to repair them. The watch has sat in my dresser drawer for a few years now, I just checked it again, and no magical fix. The second hand still jumps when the watch is bumped. This may seem like a minor thing to some, but I would expect a watch like this to be built to better standards. I really wanted to like this watch, especially considering it is the most I have ever spent on one, but all it is too me now is a paper weight.”

“Always wanted a luminox watch. Ordered this one and love it. Not too big or bulky, fits and looks great! Hope to have this watch for many years to come!”
“I guess overall I am ok with this watch. I own a Seiko diver watch. So I am use to feeling some heft from my watch. The Seiko has a screw down crown that I thought every diver watch would have. I am going to keep my watch and I want to say sorry to all the diehard Luminox fans.”
