“This watch was formerly called the "Swat Watch" and was for police. Although the second's hand glowed, it would disappear in the nighttime, leaving just the hours and minute hands showing. It was very well designed, had larger diameter and was a dark steel. The new one is quite unique and an 'advancement' except for the very cheap rubber wrist a possibly the carbonite case (see other reviews and brands). Progress must not bony address profits but also quality that lasts,”
“I realize carbonox is supposed to be the future. It every luxury and high quality watch maker like Rolex still makes their watches out of steel etc. The feel of the authorized for navy use watch was heavy duty, substantial and robust. Even with a rubber strap the quality was crazy. This watch left me feeling sort of cheap, low quality and just not what Luminox stands for. Bring steel watches back…pretty please?”
“Its a great watch. I only wish there were a little more contrast between the numbers and the face. The black on black is such that you can rarely see the numbers except in just the right light. I knew it would have little contrast when i bought it but even less than i hoped for. But otherwise it is great. As advertised.”
