“Purchased to use with new MacBook M1 with older 27" Apple Cinema Display.
Plugged USB-C to laptop, then Mini DP to other end, and worked well. Just then needed to add USB adapter to other Laptop USB-C to use the USB aspects of the Cinema Display - that also worked just fine!
If only there were a adapter unit the included mini-display port rather than HDMI (or both). I believe there is one, but cost MEGA $'s!! This works well however and was delivered quickly :)”
