“When my original keyboard failed I was advised by Apple that they no longer made the keyboard as a wired product - only bluetooth and battery but I always found it a nuisance replacing batteries etc. So I was happy to find the same type keyboard (wired) as my original in your product list and am very happy with it. and the service”

“It looks 100% like the same full-size keyboard you'd get with a design classic like a G5, so there is no small fn key placed bottom left, where the control key should be - this minimizes typing stress hugely - especially with complex key combinations (e.g. DAW, IDE usage, numeric keypad). SIMPLE!
Also, no battery to replace or melt, and none of the connectivity issues generally seen with Apple wireless peripherals (it has a USB-A to C converter in the box).
There is a volume roller control - thankfully it's hidden at the back of the keyboard, so the key placement remains unchanged.
Have thrown too many wireless Apple peripherals into landfill because (a) they don't connect reliably and (b) after 12 months on the shelf, their batteries melt out into the device (see Magic Mouse, Trackpad), so they become useless as spare or backup devices.
This is solid and simple -”
“This keyboard looks very much like the original Apple product. It seems to be well-made and has the same functionality with 2 USB ports at either end, underneath the deck of the device, and it sports a full-sized numeric keyboard. I took one star off my review because it doesn't have exactly the same luxurious feel as the Apple original. The keys lack that subtle little bit of sponginess at the bottom of the keystroke so that the typing experience on this Matias copy is a stiffer affair, with a flatter action. Some might actually prefer it ... but not me. Still, I don't know of a better imitation of the original full-sized, wired Apple aluminium keyboard.”
