So much so that I had lashed out and spent several thousand on a new Pro. However, for less than $100 and 15 minutes to swap it over, my old Pro is as good as new. And working all day every day. “Purchased 09-12 trackpad for MacBook pro. Received order promptly, at the same time purchased screwdriver set plus tri-wing Y1 screwdriver, for battery removal to access trackpad, this tri-wing driver should be included in the screwdriver set. Trackpad replacement took no more than 30 minutes, plenty of examples on you tube. Trackpad now working perfectly.”
