“Replaced the battery in my early 2014 Mac Air, 13". The NuPower battery arrived in just 3 days, which is a record for where I live. It came supplied with 2 micro ended screwdrivers needed for the job. 3 weeks later it’s as if I have a new MacAir! I no longer keep glancing at the battery power icon every 5 seconds and charging it 3 x a day. The battery installation is straightforward and easy. There is a perfect instructional video on this website to guide you through. Anyone can do it. The NuPower Battery is slightly more powerful than the original. I know this because I downloaded free software called ‘coconut Battery’ which gives simple data usage on the new battery. I chose MacFixit Australia because they had consistently excellent reviews across different review sites for quality products and service. Cheaper ebay batteries are a lottery in my experience. Some good, some bad. I didn’t want to take the risk to save a few bucks. That’s why I chose MacFixit Australia. Their price included a $20 discount with an added 5% off for online buyers (a 5% discount box appears when you first log on to their site). Other Aussie battery ‘specialists’ I checked had good websites, some cheaper prices but rotten reviews for goods and services i.e. big hassles in sending faulty stuff back. I decided not to take a risk with them.
The Mac shop wanted to charge me well over double to replace the original battery and keep the Mac Air for at least a week. If you still have warranty, fair enough. I didn’t, so why pay over double for a simple job that anyone can do?”

“I bought a Mac battery in January this year, it worked well until September then it ran out in 30 minutes. I contacted Macfixit, ordered another one paid in full but I also raised the issue with a hope that they can at least partly refund, they were happy to made a full refund for me and the new battery has been delivered in 2 days. I was impressed by their excellent services.
