“The battery replacement kit was a great alternative to replacing my Mac Book Pro which would have cost me a grand or two. Instead, I was able to get the kit from MacFixit, and by watching the step-by-step video from mac sales.com (OWC), I was confident to tackle the replacement myself. It went without a hitch - I took my time, watched and re-watched each step until I knew what I needed to do, and I had the battery successfully replaced in less than 2 hrs. Doing the battery replacement myself saved me at least $250 and meant I was without the MBP for one;y a day and a bit (allowing for battery calibration, flattening the battery before replacement etc). Couldn't be happier!”
