“I placed my order around 10 am and at 9:30 the next morning the postie was in my driveway with the package. That's great service.
The battery's packaging includes two screwdrivers for removing the MacBook Pro's cover and the retaining screws for the battery itself. That really makes the job straightforward.
The instructions were commendably clear and also provided guidance on conditioning the new battery.
One step, however, did not work as per the instructions. They indicated the battery arrives with a charge; I found this was not the case. When the MacBook Pro did not start after first installing the battery I had to check whether I'd secured the connector cable properly. I could see nothing amiss so I put the cover back on and connected the charging cable. Then I was able to restart and follow the remaining instructions for conditioning the battery.
Since then my MacBook Pro has worked very well and retains a good charge while in sleep mode.
It's great to have my eight year-old laptop doing fine again.”
