“My 2011 MBP is still an excellent computer, but the battery life when running on the original battery had really dropped - I could use it for only about an hour unplugged before it would go flat. This replacement - easy to fit with the tools provided - has given if hours and hours of battery runtime. Highly recommended for anyone still running on their original battery in an 8 year old Macbook!”

“I bought this battery pack as a direct replacement for the OEM battery in my MacBook Pro: I am glad I did.
Whereas the original battery struggled to last 2 hours without a recharge and had a tendency to die altogether, I can now confidently work well into the small hours without reaching for the power cord.
The extreme ease of installation is another positive, although I feel that a note ought to be included in the literature warning against over torqueing the retaining screws, as the battery's plastic collar through which the screws are tightened are somewhat brittle, and are prone to snap if one is not careful.
Calibrating the battery after installing was by far the most time-consuming process, but hardly difficult.
All-in-all, I recommend anyone to change their original battery if they're holding onto an older unibody MacBook Pro, and NewerTech is certainly a reputable name to consider.”
