“Even though the installation guide was sparse, installation was easy once I'd taken the time to look at everything closely and review all the steps from the ifixit guide.
The macfixit data doubler works as expected and I'm very satisfied with the result. My macbook pro has a fault on the hdd sata, so rather than use this as a data doubler, I've moved my only hard drive into the optibay and once again my macbook lives. There's also been some small but noticeable benefit from being a little lighter and I hope for a noticeable battery gain, but not holding my breath on that one.”

“I replaced old Hard Drive with SSD, then placed Hard Drive in Data Doubler
You can do reverse (remember Boot camp requires DVD for Win install older macs will not us USB)
Solid construction, Hard Drive fitted very well (has screw driver built in)
Fitted in to DVD space extremely well
Fitting instructions on body/ look YouTube videos for detailed steps
Maxfixit very helpful on phone, would recommend/Very pleased
