“Pretty simple installation and great upgrade. Put new SSD in normal hard drive slot and added the Optibay loaded with the original hard drive. Cloned original hard drive back onto the new SSD and now have a laptop from 2008 that is better than it was new, with separate drive for audio samples. No need for external drive on field recordings.
The removed optical drive can then be placed in an external USB case.”
