“My old mid 2011 iMac was continually suffering the “spinning beachball” when loading programs. I was thinking of upgrading to a later model, but it was suggested to just upgrade my RAM instead. Originally 4gb, I bought an extra 8gb of RAM (which is really easy to install). The iMac is now performing like new.The “spinning beachball” is a thing of the past!! I thoroughly recommend this upgrade.”
