“I was hesitant to purchase non-Mac RAM as I’ve never done so before. So glad I did. I have a 2017 27” iMac 5K which came with the standard 8GB. I put another 32GB in, and it’s now the fastest machine I’ve ever used.
I am a graphic designer and commonly have 4+ Adobe CC programs running simultaneously. The 8GB couldn’t really handle this, but now there’s zero lag at all.
