“Worked perfectly. The extra tools were expensive for what you get, but they make the process so much easier- therefore, worth getting. Making the job easy makes all the difference. I'm old and never have done anything more serious with computers than install RAM cards previously, but by following the 9 to 5 mac, ifixit and OWC guides, I was able to swap the HDD to SSD quite quickly. Basically, if you can use a screwdriver and follow clear instructions, the job is a breeze that absolutely anyone can do. My 7 year old iMac is now singing along much faster. You CAN do it. Just have the right equipment and go for it.”
