“I was experiencing 'beach ball' problems and it was suggested I get an external SSD; I got this item together with an OWC 500GB SSD and together I am now beach-ball free.”
“This ext HD enclosure works well and seems to have good build quality. Only caveat - the included screws to secure the HD did not ‘fit' with a Samsung SSD I tried but attached perfectly to a OWC SSD. Not a dealbraker for me as it makes it really easy to swap out drives.”
