“This is a very robust enclosure which suits my setup well. Drive installation is quick and easy. There are several raid options, giving you flexibility when configuring your drives. Being bus powered is very handy too.
The 2 blue leds on the front may be a bit much for some, but I've turned my drives to the side so it doesn't bother me.
I own 2 of these now (both from Macfixit) and am very happy with them.”

“I bought a refurbished Mac mini so I wasn’t able to specify the level of storage that I wanted. I knew that 512Gb just wasn’t going to cut it.
This box has allowed me to have 2TB of SSD where most of my data lives, ensuring that the SSD inside my Mac isn’t worn out prematurely (you know you can’t replace it, no?).
It’s true that it’s slower than an internal SSD, but quite frankly it’s fast enough for me!
