“I recently purchased an HGST HE 12TB drive for my Mac 5,1 tower.
The hole spacings on the new drive were different so I needed an updated drive sled. The OWC product from MAcFixit fitted perfectly.
I also purchased 3 SSD drive holders for my 5,1 from MacFixit.
I now have three, 4TB SSDs and the 12TB HDD for backup.
Not bad for an 8 year old machine.
