“Very impressed with this device. Has a well machined/assembled aluminium case, and the drive is mounted neatly with everything lining up. Yeah, it’s just a ROM unit in a fancy case, but it feels like a solid, quality, reliable piece of equipment!
It’s also fairly quiet and hasn’t transmitted any vibrations to the desk. I’m happy with the performance; for it’s intended purpose of reading various format discs and transferring their contents the speeds/times are acceptable and, as you’d expect, error free.
My only suggestion is a longer USB cable would be nice.”
