“I have a 2011 MacBook Air that I purchased for my wife. It has 4 GB RAM and 128 GB SSD. Roughly 3 years back, it gave up on the new version of the MAC OS as the hardware was not beefy enough to carry the newer OS versions. The laptop had no other complaints from the general usage perspective. I loaded Linux Mint which happily ran on the maching (still running version 20.3), however, always wanted to give it a bit of additional storage. I bought this SSD KIT, installed the SSD and reloaded Mint on the new SSD. Everything went perfectly fine. Now, I have a Linux little beast running with Apple 2011 made MacBook Air 11 inch with 1TB storage and 4GB RAM. Very highly recommended. Thanks.”
