“It's definitely faster than the stock drive, and it was worth upgrading. One issue I had was the included screwdriver for the bottom of the MacBook breaking when trying to put one of the screws near the centre of the vent under the screen back in, but I think this is probably due to my MacBook's case being warped, as the screws won't go in all the way at all. And regardless, Macfixit sent me a free replacement screwdriver after I emailed about it, and the SSD itself isn't anywhere near the vent, so my issue doesn't seem related to the SSD itself. The external enclosure for the old drive is very handy as well.”
