“Easy to install thanks to excellent instructions from MacFixit and transferring data from the old HD. Had used MackFixit before many years ago when I upgraded the spinning HD in my iMac 27" with an SSD. Again instructions were explicit and the tools provided fool proof.”

“Thanks so much for making what seemed to me to be a daunting task very easy. The kit arrived within a couple of days and I had the drive in my Mid 2015 MacBook Pro Retina within about 15 minutes. Abd the external kit for the original drive is very handy as well.
I will echo Andrew D's comments, however, in that it would have been good to have the installation video links somewhere here. I'm only glad I found a link on an "iFixIt" repair site.
