“MacBook Air 13'' SSD had a short 2 years lifespan before the "Flashing Question Mark File of Doom" appeared. Took it to Apple in the CBD. They told me it was hopeless and I should buy a new one or that they will smash me with $600 to return it to the original state of 128gb (Apple Care was voided). Unsatisfied, I went online and was lucky enough to stumble upon an article on self-repairing & now I'm typing this review off my repaired Mac, after the parcel arrived one day ahead of time, which packs double the storage for almost half the price! Yes, it is THAT FAST & EASY, that even a total computer amateur like me can do it!
Not sure if it will fix everyone's problems, but give it a go since you can get a refund if things don't turn out. You could end up with enough spare cash to take the family out where you brag about your fake IT repair skills ;)
