“Upgraded an early 2014 macbook air from 128GB to 480GB but wanted win 7 as bootcamp so needed Mavericks as Sierra only allows Win 10.
This was a big problem as the air only has usb 3 ports and win 7 has no drivers for it so was a big problem on reboot as the OWC is seen as an external drive.
Once I changed to Sierra and used win 10 the whole process was achieved in a very short time.
This is more a review of the OWC drive as Macfixit was very quick to send the drive and were great.”
