“The late 2014 Mac mini has support for a fast PCIe SSD drive, but most were supplied with a conventional HDD. I had already upgraded the hard drive with an SATA SSD drive, but bought this Aura N2 PCIe SSD kit to add extra internal storage. It was relatively easy to install, and the Aura drive works perfectly. I measured it to be about 30% faster than the SATA SSD, which in turn was about 8 times faster than the old conventional HDD. It really has bought new life to the Mac mini, and is a great option if you want to upgrade your mini with a really fast drive.”
