“The Accelsior performed as advertised although not the very fastest it is certainly fast enough and performs well. It came configured as a RAID 0 for the 4TB. I haven't added anything significant to it as yet however 2 2TB RAID system may be better suited for my purposes. My only issue is that although it comes with SoftRAID installed and supposedly with a license there seemed nowhere I could access this licence and the software kept telling me is was an evaluation copy only. I did get a code although it required a couple of emails to OWC. The other feature is that SoftRAID checks for the latest update on launch which is a bit annoying as it takes over a minute. Still I think its a good unit.”

“Excellent product .Lightnimg fast and easy to install.The Softraid software that comes bundled with the drives is the only issue I have.I am un able to reinstall the latest version without a tedious work around .The drive is already set up as the RAID I want so atm using Softraid is off no value to me.But I cannot update it to get fix of an annoying splash screen once boot up is finished..Having said that the actual hardware is top notch .OWC get Softraid working better with OSX10.1.5”
