“Top quality product, used with both Windows and Mac without issue. Daisy-chained a dual 4k displayport Thunderbolt3 OWC device to this, and operates without issue. Only thing i've noticed is the optical port doesn't appear to have a strong connection to the TOSLink cable - not sure if the connector is slightly set back, but doesn't have a strong connection and seems to fall out easily. When it's connected, works fine though.”

“While the dock itself was not working when received, the customer support at both OWC in Chicago USA and Macfixit Australia has been outstanding so far.
The manufacturer patiently listened to the problems I was experiencing at installation, helped me upload appropriate software and confirmed I was definitely experiencing a hardware malfunction.
Macfixit responded to my email within a couple of hours, advising me to return the entire unit and provided me with an Australia Post priority paid docket, simplifying the tasks I needed to complete to resolve my problems.
Though I have only just returned the item yesterday, I feel very confident that the same level of outstanding customer service will continue until I have a working Thunderbolt dock for my new MacBook Pro.”

“The dock is a great addition to the MacBook Pro.
Great features:- charges the laptop, works with 2 screens and other devices such as my Jabra 920 headset plus has plenty of spare if needed, all connected via a single thunderbolt connection.
Not so great:- I find that I need to plug in to the laptop 3 times each time I unplug to get the 2 screens to work. 1st connection gets power, USB and networking, 2nd connection gets the left hand screen working then on the 3rd connection everything works.
In saying the above, would I buy it again knowing what I know, yes. Even with the need to connect 3 times to get everything to work, it is still awesome to connect via one cable only and the desk stays nice and neat :)”
