worth the full price and the wait. This 4 port usb & Thunderbolt 4 hub was still cheaper than 3 port other brands from local stores. It has turned My Mac Mini M1 into the beast I was hoping it would be. I am able to connect another poorer quality, unpowered hub, to have a midi keyboard, a firepod recording interface, 4 ssd disks, a Maschine midi drum unit, 2 monitors and mac cd/dvd external drive. Am I connected?, totally! Do other things drop out because something is added or removed? No, because This Caldigit hub has it's own power supply. I was thinking maybe I had to get another computer with more connectivity, but all I needed was this unit to make the cord shuffling to cease. I can have everything I own connected and use it when I want without swapping usb plugs. The Thunderbolt and USB 3 (blue connections) make for high speed access from my SSDs and latency so low I don't seem to have it. This unit has mad my toy looking Mac Mini M1 an absolute beast for multi VST instruments and libraries and orchestration (all highly taxing on the machine and the SSDs holding my gazillion GBs of instrument libraries. Thanks Macfixit for having the best price and thank you CalDigit for this amazing device, so small and so fabulous. My wife just doesn't get how awesome it is, I am the only one here that knows !”
