“The KYPlus mechanism is nearly all internal. Therefore eliminating the awkwardness of getting attached to some zerk locations. Attaching only requires a straight on push and it is engaged. Diaengaging from a zerk that has locked itself to the coupler due to excessive internal pressure is where other couplers become damaged and then begin to leak. The KYPlus releases that pressure and the coupler comes off easily, as always. No wrenching or twisting is ever required. The full metal face that meets the flat metal face of a zerk will always want to match face to face with the zerk. If the zerk is worn and the face is not perfectly flat, leaking will occur and the zer should be replaced. At times, there are situations where a 90 degree connection must be made because of space limitations. As of now, Macnaught does not offer a 90 degree adapter. Those adapters can be found online but so far as I have been able to find, they use a rubber seal, but for the few grease points where a 90 is required, you could either purchase an adapter or change the zerk to 90 degrees.”
“Great locking grease coupler. I had a Lumax locking grease coupler before and realized there were areas where it wouldn't fit since it was too big. This Macnaught grease coupler is a slimmer build and seems to be made very well.”
