“An excellent quality bowl but our springer puppy has discovered the ‘toy’ potential in its straight sided design.
We bought two for our new puppy - one each for her water and food. All was well for three days until after as boisterous play in the sunny garden she discovered she could play deck quoits with her water bowl, pushing it with her nose across a tiled floor and pulling it to her with her paw. She loves the game but she can and has twice vigorously turned it over, discharging the remaining water far and wide.
For a mature dog I think it would be fine but I wouldn’t recommend it as a drinking bowl for a playful puppy. My mistake in not choosing the volcano-style sloping sided bowl for her water.
Three stars as a water bowl, five stars for food.”
