“All the meat was fantastic. You really can taste the difference - the mince was really tasty as was the chicken. I would recommend them highly. Ordering is very easy and delivery is quick. The meat products are packaged well and are vac packed so freezing is easy too. This company was a great find.”

“We've been receiving the Midweek Meatbox on a fortnightly subscription since October, so I guess that means we're pretty happy with it! The meat is fresh and flavoursome, and excellent value compared to other free-range meat boxes on the market. I'm knocking off one star for a couple of minor issues: 1) The chicken is advertised as being 1.6kg on average, and only *once* in nearly 6 months has it actually been that weight, the rest of the time it's ranged from 1.2kg to 1.5kg. To be fair some of the other products have been over the labelled weight, but if you're going to specify a weight, I think you need to fulfil expectations there. 2) The pork steaks in particular are really variable in format, for want of a better word. I know they use different suppliers, and part of the joy of free-range meat is that it doesn't have the suspiciously uniform look of factory-farmed meat, but sometimes the pork steaks are lean and skinny and sometimes they're thick and fatty. Again, expectations. I've just noticed that the site says 'we expertly prepare your cuts, pack them and encase them in recyclable wool lined boxes with chilled pouches'. Um, not mine. Mine come in a silver bubble wrap bag - no wool in site. That said, overall I'd recommend it, if you want tasty meat with decent provenance.”
