is a great young craftsman. You can really feel and see the quality of his work. The blade is perfectly forged in a 3 dimensional manner. It has a perfect distale tapering and the side of the blades are forged towards the apex. This creates a perfect cutting feal, without losing stability. And it makes it very easy to resharpen and thin the blade by hand for everyone. I love it! It looks rustic and beautiful, the balance is perfect and the sharpness out of the box is outstanding. “This Mazaki is a beast! Loving the grind, the thick spine tapers down to a scary thin tip. Though is thin, it doesn't feel fragile at all on board, very solid performer.
